Miriam Delgado

Administrative Assistant

Miriam Delgado has been with Comfort Keepers since 2013. She started out as a Caregiver and got promoted to Administrative Assistant in 2014 but still goes out occasionally to help care for our clients when needed. She loves everything about her job and the different challenges and situations that arise daily, but most importantly getting those calls from our clients and hearing how happy and how much they appreciate all our help.  She’s been blessed with a four-year-old son who keeps her on her toes 24/7.  She recently became a homeowner for the very first time and is a family-oriented person who loves to travel, listen to music, and try new foods.

Christina Harshman

Regional Client Care Coordinator

Christina Harshman joined Comfort Keepers in July 2017 as a Regional Client Care Coordinator for Ogle, Lee, and Whiteside counties and to help develop and market the region south of Rockford.  She currently oversees DeKalb County as well and assists with other administrative office functions as needed.

A native Californian, Christina moved to Illinois in 1990.  She and her husband are approaching their 20th anniversary and are raising their three sons.  Her professional experience includes medical office including medical transcription and certified medical coding (CPC), retail management, and finance.  She holds an Associate Degree and completed additional business programs in Marketing and Supervisory Management. For many years, Christina assisted others privately while raising her children, volunteering, and continuing her education.

Christina grew up surrounded by much older family members and friends.  She relates very well with elders and has long been referred to as an “old soul” herself.   Through personal experiences with her own family and loved ones, Christina has a great empathy for the aging population as well as those with disabilities. She understands the role of caregiver and the emotional challenges that families often face.   With that, she very much looks forward to continuing her rewarding role of assisting individuals and their families in getting the specific services they need to enhance the quality of their lives.
